In 2010, we started making cupcakes and cakes in Katie's kitchen. The response was overwhelming and we outgrew that small area. We started talking about opening a cupcake store and in the past we always seemed to be making plans for some grand adventure that would quickly float away. We started asking God for guidance as how to proceed and with a strong determination we searched for a place to open a shop that represented our idea of a gourmet cupcake store. What we considered the perfect place already contained a bakery and within days our realtor contacted us with a property he wanted us to see. The present tenant was moving and the store would be vacant. The surprise came when he took us to the very shop we were hoping for. With God blessing us and support from our Dad, Mom, Katie's husband Tony, and our many friends and family, we opened KupKatie's KupKakes. Having grown up in Maryville and having a love for our neighbors we are very proud to be able to offer the great Maryville community our gourmet cupcakes to enjoy, which are baked fresh daily on our premises, never frozen and made with ingredients purchased from local merchants.
